Thanks to their high levels of fibre, young corn on cobs are very satisfying to the appetite. They also provide a source of iron and B vitamins (two to three times higher than other vegetables). Young corn on cobs come from Asia and are harvested while still young, resulting in a slightly crunchy texture.
